Hiraeth Architecture are an RIBA Chartered architectural practice based in Cardiff, and working across the UK. Recognised for our rigorous, design-led approach, we specialise in low carbon, timber construction and design within sensitive environments, supported by our accreditations as Passivhaus Designers and Conservation Architects.
Every project we undertake is guided by a commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place. We aspire to create buildings that are both deeply meaningful to those who use them, but also timeless in how they respond to and evolve with their surroundings.
Our portfolio crosses various sectors, and includes the conservation, repair, and restoration of important heritage assets, as well as the design of elegant and sustainable, contemporary buildings. These projects are often set within sensitive landscapes and built environments, and range from large-scale, low-carbon affordable housing projects to private modular homes, and community or cultural spaces.
We believe that collaborative engagement with clients, planners, communities, and users brings value and richness to our projects, whilst also helping to resolve the inevitable challenges and complexities of our industry. Our ultimate goal is to craft simple, beautiful, and functional spaces that resonate with people and the environments which we all inhabit.
